Julio Baptista's agent has denied the Roma player is set to join AC Milan.
Milan are still in the hunt for a striker after seemingly failing in their bid to bring Sevilla's Luis Fabiano to the San Siro.
Reports in Italy suggest they have turned their attention to former Real Madrid player Baptista.
However, agent Herminio Menendez insists the Serie A giants have not been in touch about the Brazilian.
"The last time I spoke to someone from Milan was two years ago," he told Calciomercato.it. "As of now there hasn't be any more contact.
"At the moment there's really nothing with Milan, no-one has called me."
Menendez claims the Brazil international, who only signed for Roma last summer, wants to remain at at the capital club.
"I haven't received anything, nothing from anyone," he said. "Julio is a Roma player.
"He will continue with Roma this season, he doesn't want to leave."
